Q: How do I get my order?

Order Pick Up
Pick up your order directly from us in CBS. Select "Order Pick up" in cart to choose your 1-hour pick up window. A pick up reminder will be sent via email the day before your scheduled pick up date with details.

Treat Tuesday Delivery
We offer free Tuesday delivery several times a month to our standard delivery area. Place your order by 8pm Sundays to meet the deadline. Orders are delivered drop-and-go between Noon and 8pm. Select "Treat Tuesday Delivery" in cart to choose from our upcoming free delivery dates.

Birthday cakes and cupcakes are not eligible for Treat Tuesday delivery. If you have any of these items in your cart you will not be able to select a delivery date. Please choose a pick up slot instead.

Q: How much notice do you need for a cake order?
A: We require a minimum of 2 days notice for all orders. We do book up quickly, especially around weekends and holidays. We recommend placing cake orders 1-2 weeks in advance. We do not keep cakes or treats on hand, all our products are made to order.

THE NEW SHOP: Once our new retail location opens wait times for orders will shorten significantly and we will have products in stock daily to purchase.

Q: The date I want a cake order for isn't available, what should I do?
A: Ideally we recommend ordering your cake for the day you need it. All cakes look and photograph best the day they're made but will keep refrigerated for 3-5 days. In the event that your ideal date is not available, we recommend taking any birthday pictures on the day of your cake pick up or delivery, then store refrigerated until you're ready to celebrate. After a day or so the natural oils in cakes start to absorb, sprinkles start to oxidize, etc. so we suggest taking any birthday pictures the day you get your cake (before this process starts) for the best quality pictures.

Q: How do I store these dog treats?

A: Our products are made fresh without additives or preservatives and must be handled and stored like real food. Storage instructions for each product is included on the package directions and product listings:


Baked Treats & Extras
Refrigerate for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
These treats will spoil quickly if stored at room temperature.
Chews & Jerky
Store in a cool, dry place away from moisture for several weeks

Cakes & Cupcakes
Refrigerate in an airtight container for 3-5 days or slice and freeze leftover portions for up to 2 months

Q: Can I stop by the bakery?

A: Not yet! Our brand new bakery and pet shop is currently under construction, opening later this year in Conception Bay South (read more about our new location here). Until then you can shop our products online through our website or shop in-person at our weekly markets. Find our upcoming events on the bottom of our website’s homepage.
Q: Can I buy Boou products anywhere else?

A: Urban Market carries a selection of our products including cupcakes at 330 Lemarchant Road. Please contact Urban Market directly for their current stock.


Q: I don't live near by. Can I order treats and have them shipped?

A: We do not currently ship our products because of their perishable nature.

Q: Can I just buy one cupcake?
A: We currently do not sell individual cupcakes because of minimum batch sizes. Once our new retail location opens individual cupcakes will be available to purchase in-store daily.

Urban Market carries a selection of our products in-store including individual cupcakes. Please contact them directly for their current selection.

Q: Do you take custom orders? I wanted blue icing on my dog's cake.

A: We are not currently accepting custom cake orders. Instead, we offer a curated line of gourmet cakes and cupcakes that can be customized with our cake toppers.



Q: What looks like chocolate in some of the treats?
A: We use a dog-safe alternative to chocolate called carob. Chocolate is toxic to all pets and should never be fed to them.
 
Important Allergy Information:

Both our facility and products contain allergens such as grains, poultry, eggs and peanuts. We cannot guarantee our products are "free of" any specific ingredients due to potential cross-contamination. We are not able to alter recipes to accommodate specific ingredient requests at this time.
